Brookside Equestrian Estate	Brookside Equestrian Estate was recently restored to its original 1930's splendor. It was the filming location of several movies, most notably the original National Velvet. Rolling green lawns, white picket fences, grand old oak trees, flora updated regularly and horses under saddle bring to mind the tranquility of times past. The landscaping and grounds are maintained to the highest standard all year long. Brookside is currently the training site for an Olympic rider and is the host facility for the "United States Equestrian Team Training Sessions". Brookside facilities include 28 acres of lawn, riding trails, tree covered areas, streams, a gazebo and a covered pavilion (70'X150'). The original stables have also been restored to mint condition. An incredible loft home resides over the central stables boasting magnificent views of the lawns, pavilion, trails and riding arenas. This home is also available for your filming needs. Geographically, Brookside sits in a bowl and can be shot 360 degrees. Walnut is a film friendly city where permits can be obtained very fast and inexpensively; most projects do not require police or fire department support and plenty of parking available.
